Pottermore, the mysterious new site by J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, is slowly becoming less of a closed book.
The Pottermore Twitter account recently released several sneak previews from the upcoming website. Pottermore was previously revealed to be an interactive reading experience of the Harry Potter books.
While gaming elements — such as accomplishments and virtual items — are clearly visible in some of the photos on the site, Rowling still hasn’t directly mentioned them. The site goes live to the public in October. But Rowling dropped a clue during the original announcement for those who wish to enter early: “Follow the Owl.”
Do you think these preview tweets mean that Twitter is Pottermore’s “owl,” or is there something more intricate planned?
Check out a gallery of new and old images from the site, as well as the video of the original announcement, below.
