Bono on Automatic iTunes Download of U2 Album: 'Oops, I'm Sorry About That'

iTunes users: Bono is sorry he forced his surprise album on you.

In a video Q&A on the band’s Facebook page, the U2 frontman apologized to fans for putting the new album in everyone’s iTunes libraries without asking.

“Oops, I’m sorry about that,” he said in response to a fan question imploring the band to never do it again.

Following last month’s iPhone 6 event, U2′s latest album Songs of Innocence, was automatically downloaded to every iTunes account after updating to iOS 8.
